Zubby Enebeli
is a Nigerian musical star well-gifted in the art of musical
entertainment and working audiences to a frenzy. Very humble and
unassuming, he is a graduate of the Kaduna Polytechnic, and has several
albums to his credit. He is the MD/CEO of the Zubino’s Event Centre,
Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. He Runs a 17-man full orchestral band,
specializing in entertaining at end of year parties, birthday parties,
government events and other engagements too numerous to mention.
He has the following well documented and referenced experience: Session
Man (Conga) Bobby Benson Band, Lagos, 1984; Session Man (Conga/Backup
Singer) Tony Benson Band, Lagos, 1984; Back up/Lead Vocalist- Bala
Miller Band, Kaduna, 1985-1987; Back up/Lead Vocalist- Geraldo Pino
Band, Port Harcourt 1987; Back up/Lead Vocalist- George Gold Band Port
Harcourt, 1987; Back up/Lead vocalist- Onyeka Onwenu Band, 1988-1992;
Back up/Lead vocalist- Majek Fashek and backup vocals for over 3000
album projects.
He has the following albums to his credit: Be
Strong, 1995; Surudege, 1998; Suru something, 2001; You no go know me
again 2005/2006; Nor be my fault, 2008; By fire by force, 2012; The
expected call (Praise), 2013 and several jingles and movie sound tracks.
Zubby Enebeli
has performed in the following international concerts: The African
Community Musical Concert, Brussels, Belgium, 1990; performed along side
Bryan Adams, Tee Boy, Take six, etc. The Mixed African Musical Concert
in Paris, France, 1997; performed along side Sunny Ade, Manu Di Bango,
Mayatha Fanbule and Bonny M. The Benson and Hedges Musical Tour in
Nigeria, 1998; featuring: Femi Kuti, Ras Kimono, Mike Veno Marioghae
etc; and in the Nigeria 99 Concert.
Living to the expectation of
the star he is, Zubby has received several outstanding awards in his
career: Lekki Sun-splash Music Talent Hunt -1991; Best upcoming
artist-1995; Best African music video – 1998; and Best vocalist -2001.
